PRE-ROMAN ROADS AND CHARLES DICKENS

To the Editor of the “Weekly Westminster Gazette.”

Sir,—The writer of the letter, K. T. Gemmell, in your issue of April 7th, may be interested in a report of the County Surveyor of Hertfordshire as to Roman and Pre-Roman roads in that county, issued on May 18th, 1912, reference C.P. 176, 1912–13. I think the cost is under 2s. 6d. This is very complete and has a map attached.

The autograph of Charles Dickens can be readily obtained in London. There is a cheque of his for sale in a second-hand bookshop in Holborn (or is it New Oxford Street?), nearly opposite Museum Street, North end.—Yours, &c.,
F. G. P. R.
