Dearest One

Thanks for your charming & sweet letters. Will reply fully next mail. At present am in the thick of it & the mail leaves in a few minutes. On reading my letter over it seems bald & cold & not a vestige of sentiment in it. My love for you is increasing daily & although it may not show on the surface yet it is very deep.

We arrived this morning about 6.30 & at 8.45 was busy with my letters. For heavens sake dearest do take care of yourself & don’t bother about the work. I hear this morning our firm have appointed agents for Africa without even consulting me. I feel annoyed about it yet at the same time it is extremely unlikely I shall go out again so that is one blessing to be thankful for.

Now I shall have to work like the very deuce after my easy time in N.Z. & my time for pleasure will be very limited. Never mind sweetest our summer & winter will be full of unalloyed pleasure. What matters a few weeks when we shall not be separated again for perhaps years. I will strive & strive to save money as hard as I can so we can get married at the earlies possible moment.

Haven’t time for more now

My dearest love sweetheart

Yours for all time

Harry
