Diary 2011 

·         Wednesday 17th August at 17.00hrs: recital by Duo da Chiesa (Andrea Kuypers and Philip Sawyer); the church of St Michael and All Saints, Brougham Street, Edinburgh. To include the world première of As I remember it….’ for flute and organ by Ilari Laakso, I shall not be sad for flute and electronics by Eve Beglarian, and music by Reinecke, Takemitsu and Frank Martin.

 ·         Sunday 7th August at 17.30hrs: organ recital; the church of St Michael and All Saints, Brougham Street, Edinburgh. To include Hendrik Andriessen’s Miroir de peine, Magna res est amor and Fiat, Domine (with soprano Rachel Cowan) and organ music by JS Bach.

 ·         Saturday 6th August at mid-day: organ recital; the High Kirk of Dunblane (the ‘Cathedral’).  To include Hendrik Andriessen’s Magna res est amor and Fiat, Domine (with soprano Rachel Cowan) and organ music by JS Bach, Piet Kee, James MacMillan, Shiori Usui.

 ·         Friday 1st July: organ recital; the Westerkerk, Amsterdam. To include music by James MacMillan (White Note Paraphrase), Buxtehude, JS Bach, Shiori Usui.

 ·         Saturday 28th May: organ recital; the Engelse kerk (English Reformed Church), Amsterdam. To include music by Jehan Alain, James MacMillan (Meditation), Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Shiori Usui.

 ·         Friday 22nd April; the church of St Michael and All Saints, Brougham Street, Edinburgh. A performance, with soprano Rachel Cowan, during the Preaching of the Passion, of Hendrik Andriessen’s cycle of songs Miroir de peine.

 ·         Saturday 26th March; the church of St Michael and All Saints, Brougham Street, Edinburgh. Continuo organist in a performance by Sospiro Baroque of Zelenka’s Lamentations Jeremiae Prophestae.
