With
a Kentish mother and Yorkshire/Kent father, I was born on 11th October 1945 in Essex. Living in the Basildon/Thurrock area all my
childhood, they don't come much more "Essex Man" than me, though all
my family connections were, and are, in Kent. I've been a West Ham
supporter in football, and Kent
cricket fan, just about since I could take notice, which says it all!
I now live in Tenterden, Kent,
in countryside familiar to me since boyhood.

General Physician by specialty, with an interest in Diabetes. I dealt with
a lot of chest disease too.

particularly, but I am going a bit nuts about clematis too, and have
recently started growing some carnivorous plants indoors. We have a
quarter-acre general garden in the Weald of Kent. No veggies but lots of
shrubs, perennials, lawn etc.
