FORTHCOMING FROM FENRIS-WOLF

MOTHER SHIPTON: HER LIFE AND PROPHECIES by Sheila Cann and Nigel Pennick.  The famous prophetic utterances of the Yorkshire seeress with commentary.

KURT GERLACH: LEYS OF THE GERMAN EMPIRE, Translated by Michael Behrend & Prudence Jones.  The first unabridged English translation of the extremely significant geomantic researches of the early 1940s.

WALRUS MAGAZINE
Walrus magazine was published from 1969 to 1974, when it ceased.  It did not die, however, and sales of back-numbers (some still available) have solicited comments that it ought to be re-started.  In that case, Number 15 will emerge round about the Summer Solstice.  Material covered will be the area of endeavour treated in Albion magazine (of blessed memory) plus alternative transport, free energy researches and fortean/mystical/anarcho/dada/pataphysical knowledge.  Further announcements will be in later issues of JOG.  ......................................................................................................................................................

CAMBRIDGESHIRE LEY PROJECT – 1980 Season

Work is now in progress on fieldwork checking various leys that Alfred Watkins claimed for the Cambridge district in 1932.  We will publish our first results in CAMBRIDGESHIRE LEY PROJECT PAPER No. 1, which will be available about midsummer.  It will contain an introduction and an evaluation of Watkins’s Cambridgeshire work as well as our findings.  In later papers we will be bringing in leys Watkins missed.  We hope this will prove a valuable contribution to the study of ancient alinements, and welcome help and assistance (financial and practical) from any source.  At present we are in dire need of a prismatic compass and any other survey equipment.  If anyone can let us have anything or the use of anything, it will be gratefully received.  Full credit for any assistance will be given in the papers.
