IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE EDITOR

This is the last issue of ANCIENT MYSTERIES, but not the end of the IGR.  The newly-formed Cambridgeshire Ancient Mysteries Group is soon to start CAMBRIDGESHIRE ANCIENT MYSTERIES magazine, a small periodical dealing exclusively with local material old and new, the Cambridgeshire Ley Project, and ancient geomantic studies on the new county of Cambridgeshire which includes Huntingdonshire and Peterborough.  Researches will cover sacred geometry, mazes, folklore, ley lines and sacred geography, old stones, building styles, remnants of Paganism and geomythics.  The first issue will be coming out about Midsummer, and the subscription will be £2.00 for 4 issues.  Further details will be published in the first issue, available from the IGR at Address, Bar Hill, Cambridge Postcode, England.

TUNNELS UNDER LONDON

Cambridge Ancient Mysteries header

CAMBRIDGESHIRE ANCIENT MYSTERIES is the nominal successor of ANCIENT MYSTERIES, organ of the Cambridgeshire Ancient Mysteries Group of the IGR.  CAM will be a quarterly production.  dealing with all aspects of Cambridgeshire geomancy and geomythics. 

Articles planned include: The Gogmagog controversy; Hilton turf maze; Comberton turf maze; the Mysteries of Ely Cathedral; Watkins’s Cambridgeshire leys update; Peterborough antiquities; Cambridge city geometry; old stones of Cambridgeshire; Church orientation; King’s College Chapel; Barnwell Priory; the Holy Wells of Cambridgeshire; stone crosses; geomantic phenomena; folklore and ancient sites; modern geomantic artifacts in the county; ancient boundary lore and Pagan survivals.
