Bright colour is the essence of these works, a metaphor, for happiness with darker areas hinting of harsh times and pain.
Dawn Honeyball's wide and varying experiences have created an abundance of influences. Her paintings investigate life through colour in acrylic on canvas. Educated and raised in Buckinghamshire where she has once again settled after periods in Cambridge, London and Eastern Australia, Dawn excludes the narrative element from her paintings to let the work speak for itself. The colours become both concrete and abstract, making an impact both as a physical and metaphysical presence. |
