Wadi Rum is just one of the many valleys that lace the desert outside of Aqaba. Having been sculpted into amazing forms by sand, wind and rain, they have then been home to nomadic people for thousands of years. This leaves them with both a sense of human history often literally carved into the rock and of huge forces of nature.
