This set of mono-prints are all based on different sections of the prologue to John’s Gospel in the New Testament (John ch.1 v.1-18) Where John talks in both very abstract and physical terms about the Christ as a universal figure and as a specific person. John uses strong images of light and darkness throughout his gospel and these images reflect both that and the abstract yet physical quality to his writing.
